The Service Desk Management process ensures that each call is answered in the quickest possible manner by a skilled agent who can diagnose and resolve the issue to minimize downtime. For each call, a record is opened and handled, keeping quality requirements in mind. For any issues that are unresolved at the Service Desk, a hand-off via an Incident takes place to higher-level resolver groups.
