If you speak to any IT Leader, they will tell you that one of their key focus areas is to reduce the number of incidents or in other words, service disruptions. As we have discussed in previous posts, an Incident or Service Disruption is any unplanned interruption or degraded performance of a product or service. When this occurs, the uptime and availability of the product or service is affected and users will be unable to perform their business functions.
