We have a tendency to look up to other people because of their titles or standing in life, but just because we do so, does not indicate that they are superior to us. Similarly, just because we come across people who appear to have fewer resources than us does not always imply that they are beneath us or have nothing of value to contribute.

Because of the varied things that have happened to them, they could have knowledge that is distinct from ours.

Because of this, humility is essential to the learning process; if we are modest enough, we can learn from anyone. Every individual you come into contact with presents you with a new chance to learn and develop.
